ABOUT THE IDEA Legends, ancient curses and secrets are the ingredients for this terrifying – yet humorous – stories. Expect to see not only characters from both writers’ universes, but also famous faces from the turn of the century.
The idea of the Poe & Philips comic was born from the desire of seeing together two worlds, from two great writers that we both enjoyed, and that we tought would be an interesting duo – joining both universes and spawning a new and original one. It’s all also a tribute we wanted to do due to the fascination we have for the gothic terror that lies on each page of their works. A true amazing style that could never be repeated.
ABOUT THE COMIC
The setting: England, America and other places of the world at the end of the XIX century. Two men, Edgar Poe and Howard Philips, will find themselves involved in mysterious and enigmatic adventures. Their job? Investigators of Paranormal Affairs.
