Born 1981 in Brazil, Felipe lived for 13 years in Bogotá, Colombia, where he discovered, thanks to Moebius and Eisner's Spirit, the comic book as an art form. More importantly, he studied David Loomis' technical books, where he learned most of what he knows. Among his many inspirations and influences are Simon Bisley, Moebius, Leinil Yu, Mignola, Klimt, 60's to 70's rock, and his father. Currently, Felipe lives in Brazil's capital city, Brasília
